Our History

H & S Cleaning Service, Inc. was founded in 1986 by Henry Ramsey in the city of Philadelphia.  It was established as Henry Ramsey Cleaning Service, and operated as a sole proprietorship until December 1994.

At that time, Sheila Ramsey was elected to the position of President, Secretary/Treasurer and became owner of 51% of the corporate stock.  When not meeting with potential clients, developing maintenance programs or contract bids, she can often be found on-site evaluating staff compliance, providing guidance, and on-going training.

Henry Ramsey was elected to the position of Vice President with an ownership of 49% of corporate stock.  His many years in the industry serve him well in his present responsibilities of on-site services and employee coordination.  Henry's long term involvement in the commercial maintenance industry and his guidance has facilitated operational development and training programs, making H & S the unparalleled maintenance company it is today.
